Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the DA Board made the difficult decision to postpone a face to face Melbourne Conference until July 2021. Our priority is to keep DA members and the Australian community as safe as possible.
In the face of these unprecedented challenges, we are very pleased to present a virtual plenary program in August 2020. The plenary program will run in the planned conference week (24-26 August).
The 2020 Conference theme – Discover. Grow. Evolve. – has perhaps never been so relevant as we cautiously emerge from lockdown restrictions. We are thrilled to provide a first-class line up of speakers to inspire and motivate the profession across three overarching themes of leadership, sustainability and implementation and translation. We will also be opening the conference with a plenary session to hear from some of our emerging dietitians.
We hope you can join us virtually for this exciting program; and we look forward to meeting face to face for Dietitians Australia 2021 Conference in Melbourne in July 2021.
Dr Zoe Davidson
Scientific and Social Program Committee Chair
Dietitians Australia (DA) is the peak body for dietetic and nutrition professionals, representing more than 7,000 members around Australia and overseas. More than a professional association, we’re a strong and inspiring community. We’re committed to supporting our members, advocating for our profession and building healthier communities. DA and its members both research and deliver evidence-based information on food and nutrition locally, nationally and internationally. We recommend looking for the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credential when choosing a dietitian. Their advice and support is solid and dependable, based on the latest science and tailored to each person.
